Formula One 2016 Tyre Rules Explained

Com as novas regras determinadas pela Federação Internacional de Automobilismo (FIA), a Pirelli anunciou os tipos de pneus que as equipes poderão utilizar na primeira etapa do Mundial de 2016, na Austrália, no fim de semana dos dias 18 a 20 de março.

Equipes e pilotos terão à sua disposição três tipos de pneus por fim de semana. Para a corrida em Melbourne, eles poderão utilizar os pneus médios (de cor branca), macios (amarelo) e supermacios (vermelho).

Com a introdução do novo composto ultramacio (identificado pela cor roxa), o número de pneus slicks disponíveis chega a cinco.
