Isto é por que você deve usar o cinto de segurança...


O cinto de segurança foi criado em 1959 por Nils Bohlin, um engenheiro da Volvo. Ao invés de requerer a patente da invenção, a marca sueca quis que o equipamento fosse usado por todos e salvasse vidas.

Ao longo do tempo, o uso do cinto de segurança tornou-se obrigatório ao redor do mundo. E não é para menos. Estas pessoas que estavam a bordo de um Lada na China descobriram o porquê.

Após o motorista perder o controle do carro e bateu na mureta de proteção central. Apenas ele e o passageiro da frente estavam usando o cinto de segurança. Já os três passageiros no banco traseiro não estavam usando seus cintos de segurança, e acabaram sendo ejetados para fora do carro.

Um deles percorreu vários metros pelo ar e parou no chão de uma via de acesso da pista contrária. A situação só não piorou porque o motorista do caminhão que vinha em sua direção conseguiu parar a tempo.

Felizmente, todos sobreviveram ao acidente. Quem sabe agora eles aprenderam a lição?

No circuito de rua de Vila Real, que sedia a etapa de Portugal do WTCC, o piloto holandês Tom Coronel se aproximou da curva da Araucária, onde fica o trecho apelidado de "Joker Lap", e no momento da frenagem, perdeu repentinamente o controle do seu Chevrolet Cruze TC1, saiu da pista e bateu na lateral de uma ambulância.

Um bombeiro foi ferido levemente. Já o carro teve perda total, e Tom Coronel ficou a pé, não podendo participar do restante do final de semana.
