Todo Natal, desde 2012, a Ford lançou um vídeo da série "Snowkhana", animação produzida em stop motion, onde os protagonistas são Mental Block e seu Ford Fiesta. Para a sexta edição da série, em 2017, a Ford resolveu adicionar outro protagonista: o internauta!

Este episódio, chamado "Snowkarma", é interativo, já que oferece ao espectador a possibilidade de tomar decisões sobre o que Mental Block deve fazer ou qual caminho seguir. A Ford quer que você escolha seu destino: ser travesso (naughty) ou obediente (nice).

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the most well-known hill climb in the world, billed as America’s second oldest, continually running race (the Indianapolis 500 is first), it’s also one of the first places Block ever raced in his career.

Você deve estar lembrado do que Mike Ryan aprontou há três anos com seu caminhão Freightliner Cascadia, não é? Pois ele o fez novamente!

A bordo do Banks Super-Turbo Freightliner Cascadia, com motor Detroit Diesel DD60, com seis cilindros em linha, 14 litros de cilindrada, sobrealimentado por turbocompressor e supercharger, mais de 2.400 CV de potência e 691,3 mkgf, o piloto Mike Ryans vai a uma doca, no porto de Long Beach, onde apronta peripécias dignas de Ken Block.

A preparação deste caminhão é incrível! O turbocompressor tem capacidade para operar a até 12,4 bar de pressão, mas está regulado para fornecer apenas 6,1 bar, metade da pressão máxima, pois é auxiliado pelo supercharger.

Ainda há um sistema de injeção de água/metanol, na proporção 50/50, que pulveriza a mistura ar-combustível nos coletores de admissão, para resfriá-la antes de ir para os cilindros, aumentando a concentração de oxigênio, melhorando a combustão, gerando ainda mais potência.

Mike Ryan estará na 92ª edição do Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, no dia 29 de junho, com este mesmo caminhão.
