O ano era 1986. Era a primeira vez que a Fórmula 1 cruzava a Cortina de Ferro e ingressava na Hungria, Europa Oriental, que fazia parte da União Soviética. Mais de 200 mil pessoas estiveram presentes no primeiro final de semana da categoria máxima do automobilismo em Mogyoród.

Em qualquer circuito onde estreou em sua carreira, Ayrton Senna sempre pedia emprestado algum carro que era popular naquele país. Ele conseguiu uma unidade do Lada (ou VAZ ou AvtoVAZ) 2101, emprestado pela Lada Sport.

Assim, Beco levou o projeto russo baseado no Fiat 124 ao limite nas curvas e retas de Hungaroring. Zsolt Mitrovics, que foi membro da equipe de resgate do circuito húngaro de 1986 a 1992, conseguiu emparelhar com o piloto brasileiro e bater esta rara foto.

Mais precisamente, ele embarcou em uma longa viagem até o Texas. Eis que, às sete e meia da manhã, na rodovia US 223, perto da cidade de Adrian, Steve encontra um policial no seu caminho, e este o manda encostar. É óbvio que Braithwaite sabia por que havia sido ordenado a parar, e não era por trafegar em alta velocidade.

Avião monomotor faz pouso forçado em rodovia movimentada de Quebec

1973 Piper PA-28 Cherokee Forced Landing Highway 40 Quebec Canada
O piloto de um 1973 Piper PA-28 Cherokee teve problemas mecânicos em pleno ar e teve que achar um lugar para pousar. Como não havia um aeroporto por perto, e o piloto estava sobrevoando uma estrada, o único local possível era o asfalto. O incidente ocorreu na Rodovia 40, em Quebec, Canadá, na quinta-feira, 17 de abril de 2020.

Contando com a sorte e, sobretudo, a confiança dos motoristas, o piloto realizou o procedimento para realizar o pouso de emergência. Felizmente, tudo ocorreu bem, já que os ocupantes da rodovia diminuíram a velocidade e criaram um espaço para que o avião pudesse pousar.
