The 1973 Chevrolet Vega GT. Building a better way to see the USA.

The 1973 Chevrolet Vega GT. Building a better way to see the USA. SUPERVEGA Not faster than a speeding bullet. Not more powerful than a locomotive. And quite unable to leap tall build-ings or even small ones for that matter, in a single bound. Nonetheless, the Vega GT is a super little car for the money. To build a GT, we start with the seemingly mild-mannered Vega Hatchback or Kammback. We add, then, the more responsive version of our aluminum block overhead cam engine. We add stabilizer bars, front and rear. Wide white-lettered bias belted ply tires and special GT wheels. We add an assist handle, a sporty four-spoke steering wheel, special instrumentation (tach, amp and temp gauges), an electric clock and wood-grain vinyl accents. We add a black grille, special GT nameplates and more. (We don't add the stripes, because we've found that not everybody wants them. But you can order them if you like.) There you have it. The Vega GT. Supervega. Even more desirable for 1973 with its improved emission controls, stronger front bumper, new colors inside and out. And a staged two-barrel carburetor with a secondary bore that kicks in only when you need it. Test drive the 1973 Vega GT at your Chevrolet dealer's soon. It's your kind of car.

The 1981 Chevrolet Citation X-11. It gives you goose bumps.

The 1981 Chevrolet Citation X-11. It gives you goose bumps. Perhaps you're here because of X-1 1's heart-stirring looks. The aluminum alloy wheels, the hood scoop, sport mirrors, X-11 striping. Perhaps because of the refinements: bucket seats, full instrumentation with tach, power brakes, sport steering wheel. But no matter. Whatever the reason, you're in now. And now you're off. X-1 1 streaks you across the overpass. Its high output V6 working its innards to the max. Readily taming this piece of pavement. Front-wheel drive holds its own ground. Steel-belted radials grip the asphalt. With F41 Sport Suspension on guard to help smooth out the imperfections in your way. And response? With X-1 1's rack-and-pinion steering and front and rear stabilizer bars, it falls into the realm of a natural reflex. The conquest over, Citation rests. Yet is ready at a moment's notice to perform again. And you. You contemplate the excitement it takes to give you goose bumps. Because now they just won't quit.

There's a fine line between pure sport and pure luxury. It's called Chevelle. Chevrolet. Putting you first, keeps us first.

There's a fine line between pure sport and pure luxury. It's called Chevelle. Out-and-out sports cars are often thought to be exciting but undisciplined. On the other hand, luxury automobiles sometimes earn the undeserved reputation of being sluggish and unresponsive. Is it possible to combine the best of these extremes, while completely eliminating the negatives? Happily, yes. Chevelle can offer the stimula-tion of a 396-cubic-inch V8 to-gether with the serenity of a full coil ride on computer selected springs. And family-size roominess with needle-sharp handling. And a sur-prisingly rich look with a price that's not too rich for your blood. Beginning to get the idea? A visit to your Chevrolet dealer's will make Chevelle all the more appealing. Put your sales resistance to the test. Chevrolet. Putting you first, keeps us first.
