Ayrton's Wish: A Gran Turismo Tribute to Ayrton Senna

Em primeiro de maio de 1994, um piloto tricampeão de Fórmula 1 morre em um trágico acidente, deixando sua família, os fãs e uma nação enlutados pela perda do maior automobilista do mundo.

Viviane Senna, irmã de Ayrton, realizou o desejo do piloto, e criou o Instituto Ayrton Senna (IAS), para ajudar a melhorar a educação brasileira.

O curta-metragem "Ayrton's Wish" explora minuciosamente o sonho de Senna de dar oportunidades para crianças desenvolverem seu potencial, e mostra detalhes da nova aliança entre o Instituto Ayrton Senna e o Gran Turismo.

Mais importante do que o sucesso nas pistas, o filme mostra o amor de Ayrton Senna pelo Brasil.

"Ayrton's Wish" é dirigido por Tamir Moscovici, que também trabalhou em "KAZ: Pushing The Virtual Divide", que celebrou o décimo-quinto aniversário de Gran Turismo, vencedor do prêmio de "melhor longa-metragem com conteúdo promocional" no Game Marketing Awards 2014.

Gran Turismo®6 release date set for December 6, 2013

August 20, 2013: Polyphony Digital Inc., creator of PlayStation®'s best-selling Gran Turismo® franchise, has announced a unique partnership with a number of leading automotive manufacturers, design houses and other leading global brands. Design teams from Alfa Romeo, Alpine, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Bertone, GM Design, Honda, Infiniti, Italdesign Giugiaro, JORDAN Brand, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Nissan, Peugeot, SRT(Chrysler), Volkswagen and Zagato will create concept models giving a unique insight into the future of the automotive sector. Their designs will then be recreated as working cars for the new Gran Turismo®6 game due for release on 6th December, 2013. The initiative celebrates 15 years of the 70-million-selling franchise and is known as 'Vision Gran Turismo'.

Gran Turismo 6 Full Announcement Presentation

Gran Turismo 6 is coming!

Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. today announced Gran Turismo®6 (GT6™), the latest version of PlayStation®’s best-selling franchise, will be released in Holiday, 2013. The news was revealed today by legendary Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi at an event held to celebrate 15 years of the 70-million-selling series.

GT6 for PlayStation®3 will bring new levels of authenticity to ‘the Real Driving Simulator’ as well as introducing stunning new tracks and cars and a revised user interface. A new compact game engine will improve operation and increase the flexibility to expand it with downloadable content. Meanwhile, the game is also set for expanded connectivity with other devices such as smart phones and tablets and increased social and community functions.
