SSC Ultimate Aero XT

A SSC North America anunciou que produzirá cinco unidades de seu já exclusivíssimo Ultimate Aero, que terão a sigla "XT" adicionada a seu nome. Os veículos receberão vários itens do outro supercarro da marca, o Tuatara.

O motor, que já era bastante potente, ganhará ainda mais força, com o incremento na capacidade cúbica, de 6.35 para 6.9 litros, o que resultará em 1.300 CV de potência. O carro ainda receberá do Tuatara o câmbio de sete marchas com dupla embreagem, sistema de refrigeração, sistema de injeção de combustível e freios.

Como se o SSC Ultimate Aero XT não será exclusivo o suficiente, as pinturas personalizadas que os veículos fabricados receberão não serão mais utilizadas em nenhum modelo futuro da SSC. "O próximo Ultimate Aero será totalmente diferente de qualquer outro já construído", disse Jerod Shelby, fundador e CEO da marca.

A distribuição de peso resultante do veículo será na ordem de 44% nas rodas dianteiras e 56% nas traseiras, que serão de liga leve e calçarão pneus Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 19 x 9.5 pol. Além disso, itens de conforto, como câmera para visão traseira e sistema de navegação, estarão presentes nos cinco SSC Ultimate Aero XT que serão fabricados.

Os resultados na performance são impressionantes: o veículo, cujo peso é de aproximadamente 1.270 kg, poderá acelerar de zero a 100 km/h em 2,6 segundos e atingir impressionantes 439 km/h de velocidade máxima. O preço? Ainda não foi revelado.

SSC Announces Limited Production of Five Ultimate Aero XT's

SSC North America, the American supercar manufacturer and creator of the Guinness World Record breaking Ultimate Aero, is proud to offer a very "Limited Edition" of the Ultimate Aero to enthusiasts worldwide. This limited, extreme edition will utilize some key assemblies that will be featured in the upcoming revolutionary Tuatara.

"The demand for us to deliver additional Ultimate Aero's has been overwhelming," says Jerod Shelby, Founder, Lead Designer and CEO of SSC. "We have just raised the bar again by adding some of the cutting-edge elements from our Tuatara, to this very small production run of Ultimate Aero XT's."

These five very unique, collectable Ultimate Aeros will be classified as the 2013 Ultimate Aero XT. Each 2013 Ultimate Aero XT will feature a 1300 horsepower version of the Tuatara power plant, 7-speed Tuatara paddle shift and the Tuatara cooling, fuel and braking systems.

The aggressive paint scheme with colors chosen by the customer will never be used again on an Ultimate Aero or Tuatara. It certainly will stand apart from any other Ultimate Aero in the market today.

After the 5 limited edition Ultimate Aero XT's are sold, production of the Ultimate Aero will permanently conclude.
