O relacionamento da NASCAR com animais invasores ou objetos espalhados na pista não é lá dos mais amigáveis. Um coelho já quis tomar o lugar dos carros, e até mesmo um bloco de notas já causou uma bandeira vermelha.

Desta vez, uma coruja resolveu pousar na pista do Auto Club Speedway, em Fontana, Califórnia, o que fez a direção interromper os treinos livres e aguardar o pássaro voar dali por livre e espontânea vontade.

Já na parte interna do circuito oval, os fiscais da NASCAR tentaram capturar a coruja, mas o animal não deixou barato...
