2015 Quantum GP700

Os modelos KTM X-Bow e Ariel Atom acabaram que sentir a presença de outro concorrente na área. Trata-se do australiano Quantum GP700, primeiro carro da Quantum Performance Vehicles.

O veículo possui um motor 2.7 de quatro cilindros, sobrealimentado por dois superchargers, e produz 700 CV de potência e 66,64 kgfm de torque. A transmissão é sequencial de seis marchas da Holinger.

Pesando apenas 700 kg, o Quantum GP700 possui a relação peso/potência de 1 kg / 1 CV, a mesma do Koenigsegg One:1. A performance do veículo australiano não poderia ser melhor: zero a 100 km/h em 2,6 segundos.

O alto nível de aderência ao solo, graças à mecânica e ao sistema aerodinâmico embarcado, o Quantum GP700 pode realizar curvas com acelerações laterais de até 1.9G em baixas velocidades e até 2.5G a 180 km/h.

O conjunto mecânico e aerodinâmico ainda permite, segundo a Quantum Performance Vehicles, que o Quantum GP700 ande de cabeça para baixo em um túnel. Desnecessário dizer que não se recomenda tentar isso. Já o sistema de frenagem pode gerar desacelerações de 2G.

Cada feliz proprietário do Quantum GP700 terá total suporte da marca para condução em pista, além de quaisquer mudanças no design e construção do veículo, para satisfazer as necessidades de cada cliente.

O preço final do Quantum GP700 ainda está sendo definido para todos os mercados, mas espera-se que seja menos de 700 mil dólares. Uma versão mais acessível, com capota rígida, também está sendo desenvolvida.

When it's not dominating the racetrack, the GP700 is equally at home on the roads thanks to its low speed tuning and suspension balancing. A custom aluminium and carbon chassis delivers excellent mechanical grip allowing the GP700 to pull 1.9G's in slow speed corners and maintain its supreme drivability from low through to ultra-high speeds.

Buying a Quantum is the first step in a journey of owning a truly inimitable driving experience. Our design and engineering team specially develop each GP700 to suit the owners driving style and level, helping them adjust and fine-tune the Quantum for the duration of their ownership.

Over the next 12 months Quantum Performance Vehicles will undergo a fast paced expansion to enable the production of the GP700 and continue our design and development of future products.
