A cobertura inclui o custo de mão-de-obra e peças de reposição originais, assim como o óleo do motor e fluído de freio.
A Ferrari diz que, quando o programa se tornar global, será o primeiro plano de manutenção desse tipo a ser oferecido em todo o mundo. Esta atitude é uma tentativa da Ferrari de recuperar alguma confiança do consumidor, após a má publicidade gerada em torno dos sucessivos incêndios de várias 458 Italia.
General maintenance for first seven years of the car's life
Geneva sees the introduction of an innovative service for all new Ferrari owners.
With effect from March in Europe, and on other markets during the course of the year, clients ordering a Ferrari California, 458 Italia or FF from the authorised dealership network will be entitled to a free seven-year standard maintenance programme.
Genuine Maintenance is Ferrari's exclusive service that ensures that its cars are maintained to the highest level for maximum performance and safety.
The programme is unique – this is the first time a car manufacturer offers such cover worldwide and is evidence of the attention paid by Ferrari to its clients.
The Genuine Maintenance programme covers the individual vehicle, and thus extends to any eventual subsequent owner.
The programme covers the workmanship for the programmed maintenance along with the relative original spare parts, engine oil and brake fluid.
The advantage to the owner is the assurance that the vehicle will be subject to regular annual inspection by Ferrari-trained personnel using factory-approved dedicated diagnostic equipment.
